My Lord's Story: Goodness Incarnate

Ramayanam in English poetry.

The Supreme Lord of the Universe was once born on this earth as a Human Being, faced challenges and had His share of pain and pleasure going through both good and bad times like any of us. Like any of us He too, took His turn in laughter and cry.

This humility of The Lord, that makes Him come down to earth and share with us our difficulties to show us a way to handle them is what I admire in Him. This quality of Him, makes me surrender to Him unconditionally and makes me want to sing His Glory on and on and on.

My Lord's Story is an out pour of my devotion that seeps out in gratitude for the pains He took to be a lighthouse for us, to cross the ocean of Samsara.

A Success From The Side of Dharma!

The water quality in our mansion has been restored.

I like to give you all a short account of how this became possible.

The health department had given a fake certificate to Mr.Narayanan, stating that the water is potable. They send me a copy of it too.

I took to Mr.Traffic Ramaswamy. He questioned the health department authorities regarding that. As he was known for filing cases against fraudulent officers, the officers didn't wan to invite any more trouble. So they tested a water sample that I gave them and gave a genuine certificate.

I took that to Mr.Rajaraman I.A.S, Commissioner of consumer protection cell. He talked to Mrs. Jothinirmala I.A.S, Deputy Commissioner of Health Dept. She handed over the issue to Mr.Krishnan Additional health Officer, who was not very happy in receiving it.

Anyhow he paid a visit to our mansion. He never talked to the owner. He just did a small enquiry with me as to why I can't vacate the mansion. I expalined to him that it won't benefit other mansion inmates. He asked me what I expect him to do. I asked him to talk to the owner and do the rectification. Instaed, he said, "Ok. We will give eviction notice to the owner asking him to vacate all the inmates. We will tell him that it was based on your complaint." He walked of.

I could understand that he was angry for having to come all the way to our mansion. Anyhow, I was happy that our fight had come this long.

I waited to two or three days. There wasn't any sign of evition notice. I decided to meet Mrs. Jothinirmala I.A.S again. This time I took along with me the fake certificate too. I explained to her, what Mr.Krishnan suggests is not the correct solution for this problem. I also requested her to make Mr.Narayanan do the rectification work. I showed her the fake certificate too. She understood what was going on. She asked me to wait for some time.

After some time Dr.Revathy, an assistant health officer contacted me. She said that she had visited our mansion and that she had collected water herself. The fellows in the lab had told her that water was good. I told her it's not at all possible. She too had suggested the sealing of the particular pump. But because Mr.Krishnan was her senior she couldn't say anything against his decision. I requested her to try talking to Mrs.Jothi Nirmala. She said she would try.

Then last Friday, the 21st of August, Mr.Narayanan brought in a few workmen and did the rectification work. And to our pleasant surprise, the water quality is back to normal and has become portable!

The talk I had with Mr.Krishnan when he visited our mansion is below. If you know tamil please listen.

Yeah, we have decided not to take this to the consumer court. If we go, we are sure to win. But we are not doing that. We have decided to walk the peaceful path. :)
